Yoast SEO 3.0.7 plugin causes corrupted menu in WP

    Since the update to version 3.0.7 I have the following problem.

    If I save a page or create a new page (and save it) within WordPress, the menu gets corrupted.

    It took me some time to figure out what was the problem. However, deactivating the Yoast SEO plugin, the problem with the corrupted menu is resolved.

    I am using the Yoast plugin for 5 years now and do not want to delete it.

    Any suggestions?

    I have WPML installed and the seo yoast plugin (both current versions).
    After saving a random page, the DE and NL menus are not displayed like it should be on the website. For the custom language EN the menu stays like it should be.

    I did the following:

    1. Activated Yoast seo plugin.
    2. Saved a random page within WordPress.
    3. The menu on the second and third language suddenly contain lots of new entries.
    4. Tried to resave the menu (also to add some entries): No result, the menu is now showing additional items.
    5. I deactivated wp yoast plugin and restored the database backup.
    6. Saved a page within WordPress again and the menu stayed okay.

    I was able to reproduce this issue several times.
