We have over 1,000 products in our WooCommerce store and just installed the “light” version of Yoast.

YOAST->Search Appearance->Content Types-> WE set for %%title%% %%page%% %%sep%% PRODUCTS and realized we must manually edit each product in order to apply SEO SCORE & READABILITY, otherwise the default status for both is NOT AVAILABLE. The same applies to focus keyword (and synonyms)

Our products are very similar (the only distinction is by color) so we want to have the same focus keyword applied to all products.

Is it possible to enter a focus keyword somewhere @ the config the config and then the keyword is automatically applied to all products when saved ?

  • Hi,

It is not possible to add the same focus keyword across all your products. All your focus keywords need to be unique. In this manner, you will need to manual edit the products by adding in the keyword for it and resolving any issues.

This guide explains more about how to find a good keyword: https://yoast.com/focus-keyword/

and this one on how to use the SEO and Readability analysis tool: https://yoast.com/use-content-analysis-yoast-seo/
