Yoast readability analysis showing incorrect results

    Hi guys, I hope you can help me.
    I’m seeing a red error in my readability analysis in Yoast as follows:
    Subheading distribution: 1 section of your text is longer than 250 words and is not separated by any subheadings. Add subheadings to improve readability.

    I have checked every paragraph and none of them are anywhere near 250 words in length between sub-headings.
    Please can anyone help me with a solution to this?

    Hi @creativemole

    Please provide the answers to the following:

    1. Have you performed a conflict check? If not, please do so. Did you discover a conflict?
    2. Does the issue occur when using a WordPress default theme like Twenty Seventeen with only Yoast SEO active?
    3. Does the issue occur with the current 9.6 version of Yoast SEO?
    4. If you disable the Beta Analysis under SEO > General > Features, are you getting the same readability result?

    Thanks @jerparx,

    The issue doesn’t appear in a different webpage on a testing platform so there must be a conflict somewhere.
    I’t not a major issue so I’m not too concerned about it.

    Ok. No worries. It may also be related to whitespace on the page or at the end of the different paragraphs that Yoast is counting. It may also be related to having Gutenberg blocks on the page without content in them too.

    However, if you would like us to investigate the issue more let us know about the 4 points mentioned in the previous reply.
