    I have the Premium edition of Yoast and the Woocommerce upgrade.

    Yoast has added a lot of meta property tags and what I’m seeing is image tags are not being updated when the images change.

    i.e.

    This is how the tags read when the page was created.

    <meta property=”og:image” content=”https://mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/3250-or58ed.jpg&#8221; />
    <meta property=”og:image:secure_url” content=”https://mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/3250-or58ed.jpg&#8221; />

    We have been going thru the site and changing image names to something more SEO friendly. So in the above case the image “3250-or58ed.jpg” might be changed to “my-product-title.jpg”.

    When we reupload it the html changes of course, but all the meta tags for the image don’t.

    In time our plan was to delete the old images off the server which would leave the tags pointing to a non-existence image.

    How would we best handle this?

    Any advice appreciated.

    Kerry
