    Hi,
I’ve two problems. I created a new page on my site and when I control it on Google Search Console it results “no indexted” and there is indicated that there isn’t any sent of the sitemap.
There should be a problem with your plugin. It doesn’t send the sitemap and consequently my pages aren’t indexted.
    How it can be solved?

Moreover I’ve another problem. The page “Chi sono” of my site (www.homosum.it) isn’t indexted anymore. On Google Search Console the page url results regularly indexted and a week ago it displayed in the 1st page, but know it’s totally disappeared. I also controlled if there were requests for removal for this page, but there is nothing.
A friend suggested to me to disable the option of “TAG Indexted” on the Yoast SEO plugin settings. Do you suggest the same thing?
I also controlled the source code of the page and there are some “link rel” (for example: <html xmlns=”https://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml&#8221; lang=”it-IT”> and this one: <link rel=”profile” href=”https://gmpg.org/xfn/11″/&gt;),
that I think they are new. One of them leads to a not found page and the other one to a site: https://www.w3.org/. Are these links linked or generated from your plugin?

Please, they are both urgent issues: it’s important that the new pages created are sent to google automatically through sitemap and it’s important that the page “Chi sono” is always indexted on Google because this is a page that people look for.

Thanks in advance for the help.

    Hello @thebigbang,

    Thanks for reaching out.

We visited the page “Chi sono” at https://www.homosum.it/francesco-carini-homo-sum/; it is included in the page sitemap. See image. It does not have a noindex tag:

    meta name=’robots’ content=’index, follow, max-image-preview:large, max-snippet:-1, max-video-preview:-1′ />

Finally, it shows up in Google search results. See image.

Furthermore, the URLs you see in the source code of your website are related to WordPress. You may deactivate Yoast SEO temporarily to confirm this.

    Hi @maybellyne,
I know that the page is included in the sitemap and that it results in Google search result, but if you write on google “Chi sono Homo Sum” the page will not display. The same thing happens if you look for writing on Google ” Francesco Carini”, you don’t find any result that puts on my page.
Disabling the Tag index on Yoast SEO Plugin could help?
    Thanks again in advance.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I am not sure noindexing your tags is related to this. Searching for “Chi sono Homo Sum” shows the page. See image. And searching for “Francesco Carini” also shows on the second page. See image

You may want to clear your browser cache or view from another device.

    Hi @maybellyne,
before posting this ticket I controlled also from Safari deleting all the cache and the page didn’t display. Now I tried again and, as you wrote, it displays again. What could be the problem? Is it normal that a page displays for a while and then displays again?
Instead, for the tag, in general, do you suggest to index or not them?
    Thanks again

While we are not sure exactly whether it was an issue specific to the browser cache, we do know that cache typically causes such an issue.

On the other hand, we don’t think disabling the tag indexation is related whether a different page is appearing in the first page of the search results when using a specific search term.

    Hi,
thank to both for the answers and sorry of I answer only now.
I contacted the google support, but at the moment the problem seems to be resolved.

I would ask another thing that I think depends from Yoast SEO plugin. If I look for my site writing “homosum.it”, it displays as first result and there are displayed also the following site entries: Chi sono, Collabora con noi, Contatti, Il Cinema spiega, Mission, Home (these are all pages), and then also some archives. How can I do to display the other entries (they are categories) that lack? Do I have to set some option in the plugin settings?
    Thanks again in advance
    Best regards

    Hi,

It’s difficult to understand what the issue is without a screenshot. But based on your description of the issue, it looks like you are talking about Sitelinks.

The links shown below the search results are the so-called Sitelinks and they are automatically generated by Google based on your site structure. It’s not based on our plugin’s settings. The Yoast plugin automatically adds all the necessary Schema needed to generate Sitelinks. So you won’t need to change anything from the plugin.

You could signal to Google which links you want to appear by using the following actions:
