Yoast Premium: Updating product attribute makes woocommerce disappear
-
Hi, I’m running the latest WordPress and Woocommerce versions, plus Yoast, Yoast Premium and Yoast Woocommerce.
The following happened to me twice now. It doesn’t always happen when I do the first step, just twice in a number of weeks:
- I edit a Woocommerce product tag, click update and view the updated page on the front end
- The page is not there, I get a 404 error
- In fact all Woocommerce pages on the front end give a 404 – product categories, taxonomies, product pages, etc.
The first time it took a while to discover, but the solution was the disable Yoast Premium. And Woocommerce was back again. I enabled Yoast Premium, and it was still fine. This was a while back.
It happened again today. I tried the same fix (disable/enable Yoast Premium), and it worked again.
There was no Yoast logging about this nor any PHP warnings or fatal errors.
