• Hi,

I’ve been using the free plugin for many years, and have to say that I totally love this plugin. On September 8, I finally purchased the premium version as it promised up to 5 Focus Keywords and Premium Support.

Well let me tell ya, the subscription was initially in my account – and then it was removed a few hours later – basically I have not been able to use it since I bought it. I have emailed Yoast a few times with a copy of by purchase invoice, but they keep sending me auto e-mails since they cannot verify my subscription.

What the F… how do you get a hold of these people? What happened to Premium support that I paid $89 US dollars for. Yoast is a great great plugin but the support is a total Disgrace as far as I’m concerned.

Also, the 1 hour I got to use it – the 5 focus keywords is only applicable to post pages. In other words, on any Category page, you are still limited to use only one focus keyword. Our website uses ad category pages as a navigation structure, but the Yoast Premium Plugin limit us to use only one focus keyword per category. (Example – Our Appliances category has a link to another category called Fridges and Stoves. Using Yoast we would have loved to be able to use two focus keywords as needed on this category page.

Anyhow, I hope that Yoast will contact me soon so I can get my subscription back into my account.

    ??

  • Hi cp_user,

Thanks for your feedback. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.

We’d love to help you and investigate why your subscription disappeared from your My Yoast account. Can you please contact premium support and provide them with your order details (i.e. order number or the email address your used for the purchase)? This will allow us to locate your purchase and review your My Yoast account.

As for your second issue, focus keywords are not supported on taxonomy pages at the moment (i.e. category pages). Thank you for suggesting a new feature for one of our plugins. The feature is not available at this time. However, a feature request is under review by our development team.

When you contact premium support, please mention this feature request in your email and we’ll make a note in our repository with your ticket number. This way, we’ll be able to inform you when this feature is implemented.

    Kind regards,
    Ramon.

    Hi Monbauza,

I downloaded your premium plugin and thought that the support link must for sure connect to Premium Support.

Your premium support link that you provided in the above post resolves into this special link:

    https://kb.yoast.com/kb/support/#premium

This is a new link that I cannot find in your premium plugin – did I miss something?

    Thank You.

    Hi cp_user,

Do you mean the Premium Support link that appears for the Yoast SEO Premium plugin under Plugins > Installed Plugins (see screenshot)? We agree this link should offer users a direct way to contact premium support. We’ve already informed our developers about this so that they can fix it. Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention.

    Hi Monbauza,

Thank you for your replies and the refund of my invoice. I look forward seeing the 5 focus keywords being applied to category / ad category pages in the future. At that time for sure, I will join the cash infusion of Yoast ??
