    Hello @melissacraxton,

    We’re sorry that you are experiencing problems that might be caused by our plugin!

    Just to be sure, we would like to rule out any plugin or theme conflicts that may occur. The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?

    Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.

    Hi @maybellyne

    thanks for the response! I have done this, I think there is a conflict between the plugin and the theme – the theme is soledad.

    @melissacraxton,

    According to the Soledad changelog, it is compatible with WordPress version 5.5 & Yoast SEO plugin. Please update the Soledad theme & update plugin “Vafpress Post Formats UI” to solve the issues with the editor.

    Does this resolve the issue?

    I updated my theme, and yoast is working on the pages, not the posts

    @melissacraxton,

    Thanks for the feedback. Did you also update plugin “Vafpress Post Formats UI”?

    Hi @maybellyne

    yes I did – Bizarrely, updating the plugin didn’t do anything, but after I deleted myself as a user and then created a new user profile for me – yoast came back and it seemed to work again?

    Crazy – but its sorted now!

    A massive thank you for your help. You are a legend! ??

    Mel
