    Hi, Has anyone else come across the issue of Yoast not working in their WordPress dashboard?
    I can see the tabs for the Yoast dialogue box, but there is no functionality. I have a screenshot, but sadly there’s no option to add it here.
    We’ve tried deleting plugins to see if there’s a conflict, but not had any joy with that.

    Any other ideas would be great, thanks

    @creativemole In regards to adding a screenshot, you would need to upload it to an image sharing site such as https://pasteboard.co/ or something similar, and then include a link to the uploaded image.

    As for your issue, can you please first confirm you are using the most recent Yoast v13.1? You can learn more about updating here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/

    ?If you update to the most current version of Yoast SEO, does this resolve the issue?

    If you have already confirmed that Yoast SEO is up to date and the issue is still occurring, we would next recommend performing a conflict check to determine whether another plugin or theme is interfering with the Yoast plugin. This could also be caused by a plugin or theme conflict. Can you try and gather as much information for us as possible? Please perform the following:

    1. Check for conflicts.
    2. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.
    If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.

    If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.

    I have discovered a similar problem today. I think I recently updated the yoast plugin, and it was working fine before.

    What I’ve found so far is this error in the JS console.

    As a result, yoast never seems to complete its calculations.

    I already found the conflict: It’s with thrive leads, a very common list building plugin. Who can sort this out?

    @gxxr Please create a new issue if you are experiencing a similar problem as this helps us in tracking as this can be caused by many different variables (WordPress version, other plugins, etc).

    Done.
    (So you don’t want to know if the same problem is encountered by several users?)

    @creativemole

    We will keep this issue open for another 7 days after which we will close in order to keep the overview. If you are still experiencing issues please respond to this thread and we can continue to investigate.

    @gxxr
    Creating a separate issue helps us with tracking and providing individualized support.

    @pcosta88 of course it does, but for the user, it‘s not the best experience to be told to repeat the information which you‘ve already received in a new ticket when a critical function isn‘t working. At that particular moment, one has other things to care about. Also, in most bug tracking systems a ?happening to me too!“ is common, as it helps developers identify critical issues. But this is free support, so…all good.

    @gxxr We understand that “Me, too” is common in bug tracking (we allow it in our GitHub bug tracker). As the forum is not a bug tracker, the forum moderators have said that “Me, too” replies should only be used in very rare situations.
