Yoast Plugin Conflict?

    I’m using the session_start() function to pass variables from a page template to the repeater template. However, upon activating Yoast SEO plugin, I start getting errors:

    Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /<path>/wp-includes/class.wp-styles.php:225) in /<path>/archive.php on line 9

    I isolated the problem to definitely be an issue specifically with the two plugins. Is this a known conflict?
