Yoast open graph meta not displaying on facebook

  • Hi I just cant figure it out. I have read several forum posts on this subject but non seem to have answered my problem.

    The snippet works perfect for google but the FB og description title ect isn’t being picked up in FB. Instead it just gives the original page title which has been disabled, and the tag line.

    Im hoping its a simple answer and any help would be much appreciated.

    After some more investigation i discovered that the og meta tags where being picked up correctly by Google+ and by Twitter.

    I also discovered that i had activated the og meta tags for the theme i am using which i have now turned off via customizer. But still no joy with FB.
