On Chrome and Safari the two dropdown bars, Yoast SEO and Custom Fields, appear in the middle of the page/post while editing and block text behind them. These are the two bars which normally show at the bottom of the page while editing a post or page. This problem does not occur when using Firefox to edit pages/posts. Both bars appear at the bottom of the page/post.

I am using Yoast free, Tempera Theme, WP 5.1.1, and PHP 7.3.4. I have run Health Check troubleshooting, disabling all plugins and using a default theme, but the problem persists. It seemed odd that while Health Check was running the problem was still there.

Is there a setting in Yoast or Chrome to fix return the two bars to the bottom of the post/page?

    Thanks, Jon

By default, the metaboxes are shown at the bottom of the page which means something is changing the default behavior. The Health Check plugin cannot disable must-use and drop-in plugins. Review the code in these plugins or rename (to filename.old) to see if these cause the issue.
