    Hello @asen85

    Thanks for reaching out regarding your canonical URL. The Yoast SEO plugin uses self-referencing canonical URLs. This means that the canonical URL defaults to the URL of the page.?Currently, the canonical URL output is:

    <link rel="canonical" href="https://www.officernd.com/blog/hybrid-work-tools/" />

    Can you share a screenshot of what you entered into the canonical URL field? You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your own website. Once you upload it to an image-sharing service, please share the link to the image here.

    Thanks for sharing. We have seen unexpected issues where the previously optimized data is invalid or incomplete. We’ve also summarized the steps below.

    1. Install & activate the Yoast Test Helper plugin
    2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test
    3. Locate the Yoast SEO section and click on the ‘Reset indexables tables & migrations‘, ‘Reset Prominent words calculation‘, and ‘Reset Internal link counter‘ buttons. After each click, the page will reload to confirm that the specific reset was successful.
    4. Go to SEO > Tools, and under SEO data, click the “Start SEO data optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your content.

    Please let us know if the reported issue remains after resetting the optimized data.

    Hey Maybellyne,

    Thanks for the steps provided.

    Unfortunately, the issue is the same.

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Thanks for the feedback, @asen85. And I’m sorry that didn’t help.

    Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty-Two.

    Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

    If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

    If you feel uncomfortable doing this yourself or if this does not solve your issue, our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.
