    Hi Yoast guys,

I’ve recently noticed that the Yoast SEO is no longer pushing published posts to Google? In the past, whenever I posted a site, it would show up quite quickly on a Google Search. The only way I can now make this happen is to manually resubmit the sitemap.

    Any ideas?

    cheers,
    Andrew

    Oh…I also tested the link with the Google URL Inspection tool and got the following message;

    URL is not on Google
This page is not in the index, but not because of an error. See the details below to learn why it wasn’t indexed.

    thanks,
    Andrew

    Hi @abistak ,

Sorry to hear about your posts not showing in Google. Can you provide us with a sample URL of your site that’s not being indexed?

@abistak How long ago was the page in question published?

We checked on the page and confirmed that there is nothing preventing it from being indexed. The robots meta tag on the page does show as "index, follow" (see image here), and there is nothing preventing it from being indexed in your robots.txt file.

Can you please provide us with a screenshot of the error details that Google Search Console is displaying for the URL?

    Hi guys,

the above links have been submitted. So it seems that google is accepting but there is a delay? Is that normal?

    cheers,
    Andrew

    Hi Andrew,

It is possible that it takes a while to get a new page or post indexed even when it’s submitted through your sitemaps or through Google Search Console. There is not much more you can do than have patience.

Having said this, we just did a site:https://www.impulsegamer.com/the-outer-worlds-for-nintendo-switch-is-now-available-for-pre-purchase/ Google search and already see it is indexed now.

    Hope this helps.
