This has been working fine until this morning when I published a new post.

I went to my reusable block which is situated on 5 posts. I edited the block and added the new link. Saved it and then went back to check my internal links and noticed Yoast had only picked up the link in 1 post rather than all 5 despite the block showing the link on all 5 posts.

  • Hi @cora150892,

Thanks for the question and we’re sorry to hear that links in reusable blocks aren’t being recognized. If you’re looking at the internal link count on the post or page list screen, can you also test to see if this affects the analysis on the edit screen of the post as well?

If so, there is a bug report that has already been filed about this issue. Unfortunately, we don’t have an estimate for when this will be fixed. You can leave a comment or subscribe to the GitHub issue to receive updates.

In the meantime, if you know that there is a link, you can disregard the warnings from Yoast SEO on the other posts that use the block. Search engines will be able to find them.
