    Hello there,

After I changed my theme I decided to check all the SEO settings on my page and it seems like I was affected by media url bug. When I search for site:casualism.pl attachment it gets me results. So I installed the 404 purge plugin but now…I have the 404 errors related to existing posts! Not the attachement ones, but for great prospering posts. Do I should disable this plugin or let it work?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

And even weirder thing is, it says that the all 404s are in the mobile version of my site. What is going on?

Well, it just seems that I’m a moron. Google search Console says it was detected 2 days ago, but I installed this plugin 12 hours ago lol! Indeed 2 days ago I had a big problem with my non working server which for about an hour and it seems like googlebot was then crawling my site.

    Here are those attachments:

But when I click on them, it should return the 410 code but instead, it just shows the photo…

We checked on https://casualism.pl/celebryci-z-tatuazami/attachment/787878/ and it is correctly showing a 410 content deleted header and the image itself, meaning the Yoast SEO Search Index purge plugin is working as expected.

You can learn more about it here — https://yoast.com/media-attachment-urls/

Thank you very much Michael, I see it works well and hope it will until it repairs everything ?? Now I’m getting about 700 410 errors which seems a good thing. And I will always use SEO by Yoast, even after that misfortune. That’s the thing, I trust this plugin.

Those pages with 410 errors will eventually be removed from being indexed by Google. We thank you for the trust and for continue using our plugin. We’ll work hard to continue improving it. Have a great day!
