  • Hi @kylie12,

We’ll need to gather some information to help us troubleshoot:

    1. Are all your plugins and themes updated? If not, does updating solve the problem?

    2. Are you using the latest version of Yoast SEO {15.5)? If not, does updating solve the problem?

    3. Can you confirm that your version of WordPress and the server meets the plugin’s minimum requirements? You can often find these details by going to Tools > Site Health > Info in WordPress.

    4. Check for conflicts by temporarily deactivating all plugins except for Yoast SEO and switching to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-One.

    5. If you’re still seeing an issue with only Yoast SEO installed, can you give us more details by installing the Query Monitor plugin? Please go to a page where the problem is happening and check for any errors or slow queries reported by Query Monitor. Can you send us links to screenshots the show any errors that are related to Yoast SEO?

You are currently running an outdated version of WordPress and Yoast SEO as well. We recommend you please update both of the first to see whether this improves the results.

On the other hand, disabling the Yoast SEO plugin won’t remove any SEO data from the database. If you’d like to clean the database as well, you’ll need to manually remove any entries that are related to wordpress_seo or yoast_seo.

    Hi,

Yes, you can follow the steps in this article in order to delete the plugin. You may have to check your database for the tables mentioned in the ‘complete data removal’ section of the article if you want to remove all traces of the Yoast SEO plugin.
