When I open a page in the WP dashboard and scroll down to the SEO there is no longer any option to make the page a noindex etc. All the tabs that used to offer these options are gone. In their place is just one tab that says “Content” and a broken image next to it (I suspect it’s supposed to be the traffic light image).

Next to the tab is a little plus sign but that only brings up an ad for Yoast Premium.

Where the heck have you guys hidden all the other options and why did you not test this properly before release (going by the tons of problems people are reporting)?

If I can’t control the noindex option on some of my posts/pages, I’ll have to uninstall Yoast!

    Thanks for your reply, Melanie.

That image doesn’t exist for me.

Some images of the new layout show this traffic light to the left of the SEO box, and below it are two other icons. None of those appear for me. Just one top of the traffic light image is visible and all the rest seems to be hidden behind the box. If I can’t access those icons I can’t use them!

I’m on the latest version of Firefox.

PS: Mouseover on exiting tab doesn’t do anything, clicking on the tab doesn’t do anything. And I can’t mouseover on images that are not visible.

    Arggh!!

Having the exact same problem – need to noindex a post and can’t for the life of me find a way to do so.

I also don’t have a “wheel” to mouseover and click on. Just that traffic light.

Worst update ever to this plugin.

I am seeing the traffic light, cog and share symbol down the left, but really dont like the new way of entering info by hovering over the Snippet content and clicking on the pencil to edit it … other interface was easier.

Use wp-rollback. (make backup first just in case)

I reverted to a previous version 2.3.5 and everything is working again.

My snippets and titles are back. editor is working, etc….

I will wait till issues are fixed until I update Yoast Seo.

Yeah, the rollback plugin is great amd easy to use.
Within minutes you have back your working sites. Looks like yoast dont care about if your sites are broken or damaged.
Use the rollback and edit per hand all the last posts/listings …
which are comming after the update to 3.x
and all is ok again (all older posts/listings have already your old meta and so on back)

    i love the rollback ??

wp-rollback saved the day! Thanks for the tip Angie!
