Yoast is Changing The Events Calendar Event Schema to Webpage

But it seems like this is still an issue. And when looking at the Pastbin that was shared in the support topic at the link above, it clearly shows that the schema classifies the event as a webpage.

This is having a negative impact on getting events into Google’s event index.
