Hello again, guys. How are you?

So, I build my websites from scratch and I noticed something.

Usually, when I build a website, I download Yoast and do not optimize Yoast until I finish creating all the pages I need.

Yoast often prompts you to “optimize the tables” and shows a red notification button on the admin panel.

I tried to avoid that, but after a while, when you start editing pages, it triggers this optimization.

This causes a JSON error: “The publication has failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.”

I usually see this when I try to create or edit pages.

Not only that, after the optimization finishing by himself, to create or edit pages start be much slower, sometime take 4 – 5 minutes to publish a page, or page got published but admin panel is stuck for 3 – 4 minutes. (sometimes is show me the JSON error as well).

    Any solutions?

And by the way, I noticed another thing: I use LiteSpeed Cache, and I notice when you cache the REST API, the JSON error occurs more frequently. (I have disabled this type of cache, but I still see the JSON error from time to time.)

    Regards,

    Nadav

    Hello Nadav,

    Thanks for using Yoast SEO.

Yoast often prompts you to “optimize the tables” and shows a red notification button on the admin panel.

Are you referring to the Yoast SEO data optimization analysis, which is also accessible from WordPress > Yoast SEO > Tools? If you are developing on a staging site, we strongly recommend running that analysis only after you have moved to the live site.

If you’re referring to something else, could you share a screenshot so we put the error in context?

    Hello, how are you again?

Yes i referring “Yoast SEO data optimization”.

And you ask for a screenshot, so this the JSON error (screenshot):

This error does not happen all the time, but I notice that after the optimization tables are triggered, I usually get this error one or two times when I edit or creating new pages.

More than that, after the optimization is triggered automatically, if I try to edit pages or create new ones, everything starts to be very slow (it takes 3-4 minutes to publish or edit a page).

    FOR THE RECORD:

Its not a staging website, as i said before, i creating my website from scratch.

its mean, i creating all pages from the beginning on a live website and downloading again all the plugins etc…

    Hi

To resolve this, can you please first try resetting the permalinks on your site? This can be done by performing the following steps:

    1. In WordPress, go to?Settings > Permalinks
    2. Click the?‘Save Changes’?button without making any modifications.
