    We would like some more information.

    – Does the issue resolve if you clear your cache and cookies?
    – Does the issue resolve if you use a different browser such as Chrome or FireFox?
    – If you have any browser plugins/extensions, does disabling them resolve the issue?
    – Also, can you make sure you are using the latest WordPress version 5.8.3 and Yoast 17.9? If not, can you it update and retry?

    Hello,
    I tried clearing the cache and cookies, I tried another browser and I have the latest versions and did not see a change however, yesterday I dunno what happened a divine force or something it actually worked for like an hour or two I managed to try it out with some pages, as I was going to do the last page it got back to the same error screen and stopped showing anything. Typical coding behavior, I dunno why it stopped working and I don’t know why it worked, I literally have no answer, now if you tell me where can I find the javascript error I would screenshot it to you but I have no idea how to troubleshoot this, without breaking anything of course.

    @thejax

    Thanks for getting back!

    Hi,

    We have the same issue after updating WordPress to the latest version. Yoast SEO plugin is version 15.4. Please can you assist? Which Yoast SEO version is most compatible with the latest Word Press version?

    Kind regards
    Anri and Andre

    Hi @thejax

    Based on the screenshots you’ve provided, you are getting this error of:

    Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid regular expression: /^*-+:*$/: Nothing to repeat

    As discussed in this GitHub issue here, the Yoast SEO meta box is appearing as blank due to JavaScript manipulation between your server and client browser. This isn’t something we can help with. You’ll need to contact your reseller/Imperva/firewall/ CDN/WAF provider for further assistance on this to help sort out the issue.

    Hi @snappyclick

    We are sorry you’re having a similar issue. Please open a new request. That way it’s easier to track issues and provide assistance. Thanks!
