    Hi,

When I add images to a FAQ section added via YOAST FAQ Block on Block editor, no image caption displays along with this images in frontend and there is no option to add the image caption in backend. Its simply missing and will probably result in poor SEO. I’m using the latest version of YOAST and the latest Version of WordPress.

Is there any solution out there for this?

    Thanks!

    Hello @loano1!

How about if you add the caption directly to the image by going to your media library?

    Hello @onlyincebu ,

Maybe I didn’t express myself clearly enough, even if the caption is already added is it not shown within the FAQ block. When I insert the image outside the FAQ block, the caption is displayed normally.

    Hi @loano1,

    Thank you for your reply.

We can confirm that captions are currently not shown in the current FAQ block. We are sorry. We’ll create an internal bug report to get this over to the development team. Thank you for reaching out about this!

However, please note that we can’t give any ETA on a fix for this. As a temporary workaround, you can add content around the image but it wouldn’t be outputted as a <caption> though.

    No worries, happy to forward!

    Hi @loano1,

We are going ahead and mark this topic as resolved due to inactivity. Please know that the bug report is still open for our development team. We hope to see this in a future release soon too.

If you require any further assistance please create a new forum topic. Thank you!
