    Hi Yoast-team,

I just wanted to ask if you already have a solution for the fact, that Google will not show FAQ rich results in the SERPs from now on. (see: https://developers.google.com/search/blog/2023/08/howto-faq-changes)

Impractically, I have created hundreds of FAQs with the Yoast FAQ Block and would not like to ‘throw them away’. Converting the FAQ into pure HTML would be a rather elegant solution, I think.

What do you think? Are you already working on a solution for this?

    Hello @mikey79

Thanks for your question about structured data. We are aware of Google’s changes to HowTo and FAQ rich results.

FAQ pages will still be visible in the Google search results for certain high-profile sites. Just by using the Yoast SEO FAQ structured data content block, you might get a FAQ rich result if Google deems your site worthy of it.

Even if you don’t get a rich result, it is very important to help search engines understand your site, so adding FAQ structured data helps! Rich results are not the only benefit of an FAQ block. It’s useful for users and visitors, regardless of what search engines do.

    Hello @maybellyne

Thanks for your reply. Is there a way to turn off the schema.org declaration for Yoast FAQ? So that only “pure HTML” remains?

    Hello Mikey,

There’s no feature to convert the Yoast SEO FAQ blocks to pure HTML.
