Yoast facebook settings – How to Select the og image I want fb to display
-
Under the Yoast social settings for Facebook, I have set the default image but it does not apply to pages containing images. Instead Yoast creates a bunch of og images tags and Facebook takes the first one, that is not relevant at all.
Is there a way to remove all of those og image attributes and ONLY use the one I want (or at least to be able to set the first og image line in the page (it seems facebook uses this one)).Curiously it seems this question has been asked many times in the past but the relevant posts have been closed with no answer.
for instance:

I understand that for blogs with simple posts containing only one image, the issue may not appear. But WP is also used for web sites not only for blogs these days. This is something Yoast does not take into account enough. It remains too much focused on blogs SEO, not enough on Web site SEO.Thanks in advance for your help there.
