I have installed Yoast and am using Elementor with Astra. The readability analysis etc isn’t recognising any text built within Elementor – can I get this to work?

Yoast is not compatible with every pagebuilder plugin or theme like Elementor. If the plugin/theme has added the right code for Yoast to hook into, Yoast is expected to then scan those texts. We are not familiar with that plugin/theme so we are not sure if they have added the right code.

We suggest contacting the plugin’s/theme’s authors and asking them if they have included the right code in all the modules for Yoast to scan. This guide explains more and includes links to the code they need to have: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/is-the-plugin-compatible-with-xyz-visual-page-builder/.

@jerparx – this was their response:

Hey Craig, usually, we are recommending Yoast. If it doesn’t recongize anything, I would recommend you to reach their support

The issue is that Elementor may not have all the code we need added to all their modules. Without the code listed here https://yoast.com/help/is-the-plugin-compatible-with-xyz-visual-page-builder/ Yoast is unable to scan them correctly.

We can only say to reach out to Elementor and ask them specifically if they have added the code to all the modules on the page.

If they have then we would expect Yoast to scan them. If not, then Yoast is unable to.
