Yoast doesn’t work with visual composer

I think the issue popped up again. I was updating Yoast on one of my sites when the error happened. I found this post and reverted to 8.4 after see the earlier thread. I don’t have any issues once I disable Yoast. The current version 9.4 causes WPBakery Page Builder to not load.

I also have the same problem where Yoast SEO disables WP Bakery Page Builder the moment I switch Yoast SEO on. My Yoast plugin is on v9.5 and WP Bakery Page Builder on v5.6.

I’ve never been able to get this to work. These two hate each other or something. I had to go and change 500 pages plus because the H2 Custom Headings were just not being recognized by Yoast. I’m not sure it really matters. All that matters is that Bots are able to read them.

However, it would be nice if Yoast and WPB played nicely together. I want to see Green!!!!

I’m having a similar issue. The readability and SEO status’s constant spin as if they are trying to fetch a status.

Contacted Yoast support, said to do a conflict test. The issue is definitely related to WPBakery but I cannot seem to figure out whats causing it, or even how to resolve it temporarily until this release a new version with a fix.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

shit, with the Update to Yoast Version: 10.0.1. I have the problems with WP Bakery and now Yoast too.

When I activate Yoast, then the bakery doesnt work and Yoast also not 100% corectly.
When I deactivate Yoast, all is fine.

I would like to use Yoast Pro, but if the free version does not work, this is not an option. then I have to search for a better SEO plugin since 5 years :-(((

Version 11.0 of Yoast SEO installed on 19 April 2019 and the problem persists with WP Bakery Page Builder. Same issues as you all reported above.

Does anyone yet have a solution for this?

Is Yoast addressing this or is WP Bakery?

Feeling that this is a big issue for both of these plugins and should be addressed – especially since the only option is to ditch one or the other…

I also still have this issue persisting on WP Bakery and now it has also become an issue with the Divi Builder as well where there is a massive SVG icon spinning in WordPress admin whenever I want to edit a page or post.

Same for me! The Visual Composer doesn’t works with Yoast active.

I’ve made some tests with WP Rollback and the last relase that works is the Version 9.0.2, from 9.0.3 to 11.1 Visual Composer doesn’t work.

Same here, as soon Yoast is active WP bakery stops working .. and the yoast meta desctipion windows is not shown in any case.. except if i disable all plugins and just run YOAST

11.2 still not work! ??
