    Hey Guys,

sadly on our page visual composer doesn’t seem to work, when we activate yoast. Any solutions for that?

    Best regards,
    Stefan

    Hi Stefan,

In order to understand what might be causing this issue, please let us know if:

    1) Are you using the latest version of Yoast SEO and Visual Composer? If not, please update.
    2) If so, did the issue happen after updating?
    3) Are you referring to Visual Composer or WPBakery Page Builder? We ask as we want to try to replicate this issue.
    4) Are there any JavaScript issues showing in the browser console when both plugins are active?
    5) Does increasing the maximum memory limit fix this issue?
    6) Does the issue persist when Yoast SEO and Visual Composer are the only plugins activated? You can perform a conflict check by following this guide.

We are looking forward to hearing from you.

I have the same problem. I just made the latest update to Seo Yoast and visual composer (WPBakery Page Builder) is not working properly. I can see javascript errors in console. Both are latest versions. When deactivating Seo yoast, Visual composer goes back to normal. Thank you!

    Same here.
But Yoast is also not functioning correctly. I cannot change page titles or meta descriptions. Those fields are completely missing.

Downgrading to version 8.4 fixed the issue for now.

@marcie73 Can you please post a screenshot of the JS errors you see?

I have the same issue with wpbakery and yoast not loading correctly with yoast 9 using qode bridge theme

same problem here with wpbakery and yoast seo premium..

Js error is shown in the backend. I open a page in which visual composer should be loaded and it is not, and inspecting I see this:

wp-seo-admin-media-900.min.js:1 Uncaught TypeError: $ is not a function

    at HTMLDocument.K (load-scripts.php:2)

    I’m using qode Bridge too.
