I’m having an issue using Yoast (17.8) with the Divi theme (4.14.4).

When I open a woocommerce productpage in the wp-admin, a few seconds after loading the page, it opens again (automatically) in a new tab. The problem is gone when I switch off Yoast.

I’ve tested al plugins on/off, and Divi in SAFE mode, that works okay. As soon as I switch on Yoast the problem appears.

All plugins are uptodate, WP is the latest version.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @gerdenhaan

We understand you have an issue with Yoast SEO, Divi Theme, and WooCommerce.

Is it an existing product that you edit, and do you just have to wait for a few seconds before it opens the product again in a new tab? Or do you have to press any specific field or button in order to reproduce this issue?

Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict, is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.

Please test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

Could you check if this occurs with just the Divi Theme, Yoast SEO, and WooCommerce as the plugins enabled, and with the rest of the plugins disabled?

    Hi Michael,

I already did tests with switching off all plugin. The problem only occurs when I switch on Yoast, that is the strange thing.

If you like I cac send you credentials to log into the live website?

We expect few more information about your setup.

    – Are any JavaScript errors appearing in browser console?
    – Does the issue resolve if you clear your cache and cookies?
    – Does the issue resolve if you use a different browser such as Chrome or FireFox or Safari?
    – If you have any browser plugins/extensions, does disabling them resolve the issue?
    – Also, can you make sure you are using the latest WordPress version 5.8.2?
