Yoast critical error (Last WP upgrade)

    Dear Yoast SEO Support,

    I’ve been using their plugin for a long time. (online-radio.hu)
    You have not manually touched the plugin source code.

    Since upgrading WordPress to the latest version, the admin interface is only available for limited.
    Under most menu options, it says:

    There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    I also tried FTP overwriting Yoast SEO files with a newly downloaded one. But it didn’t solve the problem.

    What do you think is the problem? How can I solve it?
    When I disable the Yoast SEO plugin everything works properly.

  • It could be an issue related to OPCache or damaged autoloader.

    Did you try to remove directory wordpress-seo from plugins directory and extract fresh copy? If you are only overwriting files then it’s possible that old autoload files will not be deleted.

    I have now deleted the files and copied them to the server again. Unfortunately, that didn’t solve the problem either.

    If you clear your cache (server, plugin/theme, or CDN such as Cloudflare) does this resolve the error? If you are not sure how to clear your server cache you should speak with your host provider.

    Hi Experts,

    I installed seo plugin yoast in my website. I tried to update meta description or any thing in seo yoast plugin. It shows this message “There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.
    Learn more about debugging in WordPress.”
