Yoast counts the focus keyphrase incorrectly

    Thanks for sharing. The keyphrase density checks whether the words from the keyphrase are used in the text and whether they are used often enough

    In your case, all occurrences of any of the words that make the keyphrase is counted. If you put the focus keyphrase in quotes, that forces the content analysis to be stricter and look for the exact match.
