Hi,
We are not sure why that is happening but we do know Yoast is expected to show and is compatible with WordPress v4.9. See: https://pasteboard.co/GU5Go3p.png. We would like some more information.
1. Does clearing your caching from your plugin, theme, server, browser, or CDN such as Cloudflare resolve the issue? If you are not sure how to clear your server caching, please speak with your host provider. This guide explains more about how to clear browser caching: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/.
2.Did your host provider make any changes, perhaps with the server on their end which may have resulted in the issue? If your not sure we suggest speaking with them for more information. They may need to pull server logs and look for any possible errors or issues.
3. Does installing the plugin manually via File Transfer Protocol resolve the issue? This guide explains more: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/#manual When you do that, you are not expected to lose any SEO data or settings.
