Yoast Column – Internal Links in ACFs not counted

  • The internal link counter on our site is not recognizing any links that appear in ACFs, no matter what type of ACF field it is. The number in the Internal Link Yoast Column will only go up if a link is in the regular rich text editor.

    Does the plugin support this feature, or is there a problem with our setup?

    Strangely enough, the “Yoast internal linking” box in the page editor (where suggested links appear) does recognize when an internal link appears in an ACF field.
