When I try to Add New Post with the latest updated version of Yoast SEO, my dashboard completely breaks. And I’m getting database connection errors.

This is a NEW error as I’ve used YOAST premium for years….but now sadly I’m having to deactivate it in order for my website to work.

Deactivating Yoast SEO fixes the problem. This problem only occurred after updating the Yoast SEO plugin. I have the latest version of wordpress.

I have it turned off for now until an update is issued.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

We understand Yoast v15.4 is breaking your site when it is activated. It also seems like from the topic you have Yoast SEO Premium. If you do we ask that you please send us an email to [email protected]. That is our premium helpdesk for users of the premium plugin. That way we can review the account and settings in order to help better troubleshoot.

    Hi Ray,

We have gone ahead and replied to the open issue in our premium support channel. As you are a premium member we will go ahead and close this in order to keep the overview.

Hi Yoast people, I have the same problem with my site https://www.silverjewelryfashions.com/
My WP is v5.6 – Yoast is v15.4
Now why if you have a problem with the Plugin, whether it is a Premium or a normal version, do you block any of us that have been using Yoast for so many years from seeing your solution? This is not the attitude that I know from Joost.
    Please give me a solution.
    Regards,
    Janek
