Yoast breadcrumbs won’t turn off

    Hi! My theme (Newspaper) already has integrated breadcrumbs, which are turned on. Rich results-tests show that 2 breadcrumbs are active at the same time: from my theme and from Yoast. However, the setting ‘turn on breadcrumbs for your theme’ is turned off. How come Yoast still applies the breadcrumbs then?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    I understand you would like to disable the breadcrumb schema output from our plugin. When Yoast SEO breadcrumbs are disabled, the breadcrumb schema is still outputted on the post/page. But you could use?the filter here?to exclude the breadcrumb schema output. However, it doesn’t remove the?reference?to the breadcrumb.

    Hi Rohan, thank you for your reply. The strange thing is that this issue only occurs at streamwijzer.nl and not at streamwijzer.be, even though the settings on both website are exactly the same. How can that be?

    I understand that the issue occurs on only one of your sites, even though both sites have the same settings. However, I can’t comment on the same without accessing the WordPress dashboard of the site. Since this is a public forum, we can’t do that.
