yoast breadcrumb doesnt update with wp permalink

    Since I updated to WordPress 5.5 and Yoast wordpress-seo 14.8, WordPress Settings > Permalinks aren’t updated in Yoast SEO Breadcrumbs for WooCommerce product categories.

    eg: In WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks I set product_cat to “categorie-produit” (in French ;)) so my product categories can be reached with the url : https://example.com/categorie-produit/slug-categorie

    But in my product Yoast Breadcrumb, on the Front End, the category link remains “product-category” and the link https://example.com/product-category/slug-categorie leads to a 404 page obviously.

    I tested on another localhost shop before updating to latest WordPress and Yoast SEO, with the same theme. The permalinks Settings were updating Breadcrumb links as wanted.

    After updating this second shop to latest WordPress and Yoast SEO, the problem is occuring the same way and the Breadcrum permalink is “locked” with the latest product_cat slug I setted.

    Can you plz help?

    @gaelgerard We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue with your site’s breadcrumbs. To resolve this, can you please try the following steps?:

      1. Install & activate the?Yoast Test Helper plugin
      2. Go to Tools -> Yoast Test
      3. Hit the “Reset Indexables & Migrations” button
      4. Click the “Click here to speed up your site now” button.

    Can you please try this and let us know whether this resolves your issue?

    I reseted indexabes & migrations and it resolved the issue.

    Thanks for your help.

    EDIT: this doesn’t totally resolve the problem because I need to use the Yoast Tester each time I replace the Permalink setting.

    Hopefully I won’t replace this anymore now but is it a known bug I could resolve??
