I’m trying to figure out how to change what google displays for our website name and description.

I can see using yoast that I’m able to change pages, but the main page of the theme doesn’t have an isolated “page” where I’m able to adjust using yoast.

I have tried updating the title template and meta description template under the homepage tab and that doesn’t change anything.

    Hello whitsturn,

Sorry for the delayed answer, google Yoast should work just fine with Zerif by setting the meta description and title for the homepage (go to Yoast -> Title & Metas -> Homepage).

Did you check the source code of the homepage if the meta tags are set right? It just might take a while until Search Engines will pick up the changes you made, especially if it’s a new website.

    Best regards,
    Marius

Please help me to add Meta Keyword to the Home Page of my site with zerif-lite Theme. I am also using WP SEO by Yoast, but I do not find the place to put Meta Key Word for Home Page there.

    Help me.
