In the post linked above the words “secretarial trainings” have an outbound link that the author did not put there. Thinking we had a spam link injection I contacted the host. Upon further investigation they declared the site was clean, but stated that the link had been inserted by Yoast.

Is the plugin now adding outbound links?? If so, how do I stop it?

    From my chat with support:

AGENT: It looks like it's the Yoast plugin adding an SEO related link.

    Hello Sdarter,

Thanks for reaching out about the outbound link.

Yoast SEO does not add outbound links to your posts or pages. The plugin’s SEO analysis scans your content to see if you have outbound links. If you do not, it recommends that you add it. But does not add the links itself.

Please check that you do not have a third-party plugin that adds links.
