    Hello,
The website has custom URL structure where some of the pages have no trailing slash. Yoast is adding the trailing slash as on the end of the canonical URL throwing major errors about having the wrong URLS in sitemap.
Is there a setting for the canonical or how / where does Yoast pull this data from?

For example this page : https://bestpractice.biz/talent/contact
Yoast has populated the canonical https://bestpractice.biz/talent/contact/

I have not added anything in the advanced section.

    Thank you

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

WordPress should add or remove a trailing slash to the end of your URLs, depending on the settings you have in Settings-> Permalinks. This is not handled by the Yoast plugin.

Can you please check your settings in the menu mentioned above and see if saving your Permalink structure again fixes the issue?
