Yoast 8.1.2 and PHP 7.1

    Yoast SEO for WordPress v8.1.2 is expected to work with PHP Version 5.2.4 or higher.

    Could you describe the issue you are encountering? Did you get a white or blank screen after updating your PHP version or the Yoast SEO plugin? If so, you might want to refer to this KB article — https://kb.yoast.com/kb/white-screen-when-activating-or-updating-plugin/

    Hi Michael,

    When I disable Yoast plugin, everything works great. When I enable it and go to the inner page, it is black.

    That sounds like a plugin or theme conflict. Can you try and gather as much information for us as possible? Please perform the following:

    1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
    2. Check for conflicts.
    3. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.
    If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.
