When I click any of the eyes in the readability tab of the yoast metabox, to highlight the subject text, the content of the whole tab (readability) disappears. No text is highlighted either. The content of the other tabs in the metabox such as keyword(s) is still there if I click those tabs. The readability tab will not return unless I refresh the page. Something is not working correctly.

I have disabled any plugins (one by one) which might seem to affect/conflict with editing post/pages, but the problem persists.

I have also made sure that readability analysis is enabled in SEO/general/features and not disabled in the users/name/Yoast seo settings.

Can you anyone shed some light on this?

    Addendum to this post:
I just discovered that my theme (Hestia free), breaks this feature. I activated a few other free themes which do not exhibit the same problem. This is too bad because I have built the site already and I like what I have. Hestia makes a very nice looking website.

I also like the readability feature of Yoast SEO. Are there any workarounds or suggestions as to what I might do to solve this?

@oakshade If you have confirmed that the issue is related to the theme and not the plugin, the best way to resolve this would be to open a ticket or bug report with the theme provider so that they can address it in a future update.
