    Hi Support

Since upgrading Yoast to 14.0.4 with the latest version of the Flatsome theme, the Yoast breadcrumb shortcode no longer displays the page path on WP Pages – only on WooCommerce Products and Product Category Taxonomy pages.

On Wp pages, only the shortcode itself, is displayed.

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I also have same problem, I rolled back to 13.5 you can do this too for time being until they get this buggy major release fixed using Search Results
Web results WP Rollback.. There are a lot more problems than just the breadcrumbs

I found the workaround fix for the Flatsome Theme, from their support. But not sure which theme you are using…?

That seems to be a Yoast bug, as they don’t render the shortcode when the theme adds support for breadcrumb (which Flatsome does).

    A workaround:

    1. Go to the Yoast integration settings in Advanced → Integrations, and disable the Yoast breadcrumbs.

    2. Then navigate to the breadcrumb settings in Yoast settings: Search Appearance → Tab: Breadcrumbs, and enable ‘Enable Breadcrumbs’.

    3. Navigate back to Flatsome Integrations and re-enable the Yoast breadcrumbs integration (the once that you disable earlier.

I use Total Theme mine does the same thing as yours. I will give this a try..

We are sorry to hear that you are having an issue with the Yoast SEO breadcrumb shortcode, and we’d be more than happy to investigate the matter further for you.

    • Can you please confirm whether you’re adding the relevant shortcode using the Classic Editor or using the Gutenberg Editor?
    • If you’re adding the relevant shortcode using the Classic Editor, are you adding the relevant shortcode using the Text mode from the Classic Editor instead of using the Visual Mode?
    • If you’re adding the relevant shortcode using the Gutenberg Editor, are you adding the relevant shortcode using the Custom HTML block instead of using the Text or Shortcode blocks?

I added the shortcode long before Guttenberg as a matter of fact we don’t use Guttenberg here. We don’t use any Visual Mode for that matter. We use text.
