By default it’s necessary to click in the waitlist product meta box for send the email. This metabox is in the edit product page.

This version doesn’t send an automated email when the product back in stock.

Please, try it and let me know.

You should see the following metabox in the edit product page

See the following link

If you cannot see it, maybe another plugin or custom code hide the metabox on your products. I suggest you to make a test and leave only WooCommerce and our plugin enabled.
