    I have received a compile error caused by the plugin YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards which caused a critical error on my website this morning. I have had the plugin installed for 4/5 months with no issues until today. I have not updated anything on the website recently that has changed the version, unless there has been an automatic update I’m unaware of.

    For now, I have deactivated the plugin. I tried once to activate it again, but the same critical error occurred.

    If I can get help to solve this, I’d like to continue to use this plugin as it has worked well until now.

    Error Details
    =============
    An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 28 of the file /home2/madefrp2/public_html/wp-content/plugins/yith-woocommerce-gift-cards/plugin-fw/yit-plugin.php. Add ‘/*’ at the beginning of each line 28 and 40, then ‘*/’ at the end of each line as below.

    /*require_once ‘includes/class-yit-help-desk.php’;*/
