    I’m encountering an issue with my YITH Wishlist plugin, and I’m hoping someone here can help me troubleshoot it. Here’s the problem:

    Problem Description: After enabling the Ajax loading option in my YITH Wishlist plugin, the wishlist button is not showing on my website. However, when I disable the Ajax loading option, the button reappears. But here’s the catch: when I attempt to add a product to the wishlist with Ajax loading disabled, the entire page reloads, and then the product gets added to the wishlist.

    My Setup:

    • WordPress
    • YITH Wishlist plugin
    • Ajax loading option enabled

    What I’ve Tried So Far:

    1. Enabling/Disabling Ajax loading to observe the behavior.
    2. Checking for conflicts with other plugins.
    3. Reviewing my theme’s compatibility with YITH Wishlist.
    4. Clearing cache and cookies.

    I’d greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions from the community on how to resolve this issue. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem with YITH Wishlist or Ajax loading? Your expertise would be immensely helpful in getting this sorted out.

    Could you provide us with the link to your site?

    Did you check how our plugin works with all plugins disabled except WooCommerce, and a default WordPress theme like 2023?

    Do you have all your plugins updated?

    Refreshing the page when adding an item to the wishlist is not a default behavior of our plugin, so it is probably being generated by another plugin or your theme.

Testing with WooCommerce and Default Theme: Yes, we have already tested your plugin with all other plugins disabled, leaving only WooCommerce active, and using the default WordPress theme (2023). Unfortunately, the issue of the page refreshing when adding an item to the wishlist still persists.
    3. Plugin Updates: Yes, we have ensured that all our plugins, including yours, are updated to their latest versions.

    We are also puzzled by this unexpected behavior, as it doesn’t seem to be originating from your plugin. We suspect that another plugin or a theme customization might be causing this. We will continue to investigate the issue and keep you updated on our progress.

    Hello Awais,

    That’s really strange.

    Do you have a test site we can visit where you have everything disabled except WooCommerce and our plugin, and the 2023 theme?

    If you don’t have one, you can easily create one using the free WP Staging plugin.

    This way, we can see this and see if we find any errors or modifications related to our functionality.
