YITH Maintenance ….can't opt oout

I installed the (YITH) maintenance plugin. It seemed to work (initially) however when I tried to turn it off. It would allow you to go to the site from google but the description on google is saying that site is down for maintenance. I tried deactivating the plugin and uninstalling it …but did not help. I than reinstalled it again..still got the same problem. Can anyone help?
