• Hi,

I have a problem with the YITH giftcard. When I go to products en check the ‘virtual product’ box it still charges shipping costs on my order below 75eu. I’ve tried a few things with product roles and kind of fixed it. The problem I still have is when I add a giftcard (what is a virtual product) of 50eu and an other product of 25eu it’s free of shippingcosts while it should still charge the shipping costs until the 75eu is reached without the giftcard.

How can I get this to work?

  • Hello there,
We hope you are doing well! ??

The behaviour when you have in the cart a gift card virtual and a physical product with shipping should appear on the checkout the shipping cost.

So seem you have a bad configuration about that, could you check it again or tell more to us about this:

Maybe some screenshots could be useful to us.

Let us know any news, please.

    Hello there,
We hope you are doing well!

Seem that you are using an external plugin to manage the shipping on your site, so it seems to be the cause of the problem. In this case, the best option is to contact the shipping plugin support and ask them to take a look at the issue, as we have no way to manage it.

Maybe they can add any condition to not include the shipping cost to the virtual gift cards.

Let us know any news, please.

I don’t use external a plugin for the shipping cost. The first screenshot is about pricing rules where Manuel asked for. Without the pricing rules (screenshotlink below) the delivery costs are added while it’s a virtual product.

    Edit: Different account sorry
