My post tags and categories also give the 404 error.

I also noticed that since I turned on multisite, it changed the structure of the urls. They were angeladigiovanni.com/date/category/title, but know it inserts ‘blog’ between .com and date. But even when I take ‘blog’ out, it still gives the error…

    Please help! Thanks!!!

I just changed the permalink structure back to how I had it and this fixed it.

    Hi there,
Can you tell me how you changed the permalink structure? I am having the same problem on my site.
    Thanks!

Forget it, I got my answer…. thanks!

Ah yes, I had the same problem which was driving me crazy, I just had to change permalinks to default and it works now.

It works, but it sucks since the default permalinks are not human friendly.
Oh well, at least it works.

Pretty permalinks *are* supported in multisite. If you can;t use them, then you have a different issue.

Happened to me too. But a quick look at my permalinks showed that they had been changed to a custom structure.
Just change it back to what you originally had and all will be fine. You shouldn’t have to select ‘default’ unless that’s what you had to begin with.
