Yet to work on Heart Internet sites

  • Very frustrating. All over Siteground’s website, they go on about the easy super-efficient way to migrate sites in using the ‘simple tool’. Well a lot of people are on Heart Internet, and it does not work with these sites, so it’s a waste of time and does not live up to the billing. I queried this, and Siteground said ‘lots of things can go wrong’ and just sent me a link to do a Manual Migration. Pointless.

    Yes, since we don’t have control on the other host there are a lot of things that could prevent our system from migrating your site. There is a wp-content/siteground-migrator.log file that you can check for more speciffics and reach your current host support. Security plugins or .htaccess rules may cause problems too.
