Year, Month, Date in Episode URLs

    Quick Info/Question: Is there a way to include year-month-day in episode URLs?

    I’m moving a podcast that already has the year, month, day in the episode URLS. I’m trying to keep the permalinks the same like this:

    ~/podcast/2024/5/20/when-is-it-time-to-plan

    It seems SSP uses only the permalink “/podcast/{episode-slug}”. I’ve been searching and can’t find any info about this specifically.

    • Is this the only built-in option for episode permalinks? ( /podcast/{episode-slug} )
    • Does this work?  create a non-hierachrical custom post type and select it under Settings > General > Podcast post types

    The plug-in Custom Post Type Permalinks solves the issue on first testing.
