• Hello!
I have a food blog and I really like the rating plugin of yours (great UX and so intuitive)

My only problem is the rich snippet plugin that I’m using doesn’t recognize ratings in your plugin. I’m not a developer and I really don’t understand much about code but I tried to input some of the shortcuts I found in your FAQ into the plugin. here:

No errors from google testing tool so far, but could you please guide me through this… Grazie mille per la sua gentile risposta ??

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @baharehtz, thank you for using Yasr!

You don’t need to manually set up all that stuff: Yasr will create the structured data, and recipe type is also supported ??

    Ciao!
Thanks for the hint… but it’s been more than 2 weeks that I’ve installed Yasr and unfortunately in Google SERP the rating doesn’t show up.
for example here it should show 5 stars from 5 votes but it doesn’t.

Those are global setting of that structured data plugin i’m using (called: snip – The Rich Snippets & Structured Data Plugin) and hopefully, i shouldn’t do that for each page. Now adding those shortcut code of Yasr in that plugin hope rating will appear in Google.

If not… The other option might be to remove the AggregateRatings from that plug in and see if Google reads Yasr itself. But I fear then Google structured data tool will show me loads of errors with 2 recipes types of contents instead of 1.

Hope I’m not confusing you at the end I just want google reads the ratings too.

    Bests,

    Ok, let me explain better:

Yasr save that ratings in a table called PREFIX_yasr_log

I see in that screen that you set up to get data from “post meta field”, and this will not work; can you select a custom query there? (I’ve search for that plugin but I see is a premium one, so I can’t do test). If you can’t insert a custom query, you will need to disable it and use Yasr instead for create recipe type

Ok I see this between the options: Custom ID. just in case i Put the screenshot to see what are the other options

If that’s the right field I should right the PREFIX_yasr_log there? like this: https://foodcraftz.com/wp-content/uploads/Screen-Shot-2018-12-17-at-13.21.57.png

    Thanks

for PREFIX I mean the prefix for the table in your website, usually it is ‘wp_’.

But this is not the point: here https://foodcraftz.com/wp-content/uploads/Screen-Shot-2018-12-17-at-13.20.41.png I see that it is not possible, I suggest to disable that plugin and let yasr will auto create recipe for you ??

But will I be able to see the rice snippets on my posts in SERP of Google and not having errors like many missing fields in the Testing tool of Google?

If so I try that right away.

Cookingtime is not yet supported in Yasr, will be soon.

You can try to use both, your plugin to set cooking time and description, yasr for rating, and see what happens.

Ok! Just removed the aggregated rating from the Snip plugin and hope Yasr will show the ratings and in google search the situation is This.

This is the general setting of my Yasr hope it’s fine and the stars finally appear in google search.

In the near future Yasr will support better the Recipe type
